Kindlepreneur Review for Authors

Writing Tools: Kindlepreneur Review for Authors

Welcome to the first in a series of Writing Tools for Middle Grade Authors. Today’s post is a Kindlepreneur review for authors of middle grade books. We’re starting our series off with Kindlepreneur for a very good reason. It is, by far, our favorite writing tool for all authors and particularly for self-published authors. Kindlepreneur is founded and developed by Dave Chesson. Since Kindlepreneur is a writer’s best tool, Dave is a writer’s best friend. So let’s jump into what Kindlepreneur is, what it includes and why it’s so darned useful. (Although the PurdyBooks website uses affiliate links for certain books that we feature on the website, we are not receiving remuneration for this Kindlepreneur review or any of the associated links on this page. The following review is based on our own experiences with Dave Chesson, Kindlepreneur and Publisher Rocket.)

What is Kindlepreneur?

Kindlepreneur is much more than just a tool in your writing toolbox. It is a whole collection of tools, and most of them are indispensable for writers in general and for self published authors specifically. Whether you’re seeking guidance on writing, marketing, or publishing, Kindlepreneur has you covered. Dave Chesson has assembled a website filled with tips on subjects as diverse as book editing, book formatting, cover design and self-publishing. You will find an extensive catalogue of helpful articles/posts on topics such as: how to write a nonfiction book, how to write a book in Google Docs and how to diagnose your book sales problem. In addition, you will also find reviews of other writing tools to help you decide on the very best methods of making your writing come to life. The next section of this blog post is dedicated specifically to highlighting some of Kindlepreneur’s wonderful writing tools.

Publisher Rocket Review for Authors

I have been using Publisher Rocket for a few years now, and I’ve found so many things to love about it. My favorite is that it’s not another app that makes you pay a monthly fee… every single month. It is a one-time, $97 (at publication) payment. I have gotten my money’s worth and a whole lot more out of my one-time payment.

Publisher Rocket is a powerful tool that offers a variety of benefits to authors, especially those in the middle grades genre looking to optimize their book’s success. Here are some key functionalities that an author can utilize on Publisher Rocket:

  1. Keyword Research:

    • Identify relevant keywords for your middle grades books to improve discoverability on platforms like Amazon. This is crucial for reaching your target audience effectively.
  2. Competitor Analysis:

    • Analyze competitors in your genre to understand market trends and tailor your book’s positioning for maximum impact. This insight can be valuable in refining your book descriptions and marketing strategies.
  3. Category Selection:
    • Optimize your book’s placement by choosing the most appropriate categories. This can enhance visibility and increase the chances of your middle grades books being featured in relevant sections on online platforms.
  4. AMS Keyword Generation:
    • Generate effective keywords for Amazon Marketing Services (AMS) campaigns. This can be particularly useful for promoting your books through targeted advertising on Amazon.
  5. Book Idea Validation:
    • Validate and refine your book ideas by assessing their potential success in the market. This can help you focus on writing books that have a higher chance of resonating with your target audience.
  6. AMS Ad Campaign Assistance:
    • Create and optimize your AMS ad campaigns to increase visibility and drive sales. This is a valuable tool for middle grade authors aiming to boost their book’s presence in the competitive online marketplace.
  7. Sales Estimations:
    • Get insights into potential sales figures for specific genres and keywords. This information can help you set realistic expectations and plan your publishing strategy accordingly.

For middle grade authors, Publisher Rocket can be an essential companion, providing the tools needed to navigate the dynamic landscape of book publishing, optimize marketing efforts, and ultimately increase the visibility and success of your books. Plus, Publisher Rocket is updated regularly at no added cost to lifetime subscribers/users.

I would like to extend a huge thank you to Dave Chesson and the folks at Kindlepreneur for providing such a helpful service to middle grade authors and all self-published writers. I can say, without hesitation, that Kindlepreneur and Publisher Rocket are among the most useful tools in my writer’s toolkit.
