Ralph Lane has published a new book entitled Just F*cking Vote. From its title, you can tell that it is quite different from his previous dad joke books. Although it is still very funny and has Ralph’s trademark nostalgic illustrations, the topic and style of the book are quite a change from his past ten books.

Why is Voting Important?

Ralph became very concerned when he started hearing people (especially younger people) saying that since they weren’t fond of the candidates, they weren’t going to vote. So he decided to explain, in very blunt terms, why it is important to vote. Unlike his previous books, Ralph decided to write this book mostly in the form of a long poem. So the look and style of text is almost like that of a child’s book. Yet the content is definitely a little more PG-13 due the use of one particularly inappropriate F word, over and over again.
